About

Born and bred in Japan, I came to the U.K. in 1997 and became British in 2002. After working as an Air Woman in the RAF for 6 years I switched my career in freelance language services and have been working as a translator/writer since 2011. I lived both in Japan and the U.K. for nearly 20 years each and not only I speak both languages fluently but also hold extensive knowledge in cultural aspects of both countries.  

日本生まれ、日本育ち。1997年渡英し2002年に英国に帰化。英国空軍（The Royal Air Force）に6年間所属後、2011年より英日・日英の翻訳家、リライト作家、ウェブライター、観光バスのオーディオガイドなど語学関係のフリーランサーとして活動。2021年現在日本、英国での居住歴はそれぞれ約20年となり、両言語ともにネイティブレベルであるほか、両国の文化背景にも精通。
